VOST Credential - Friday
VSACCA, VDSS, VCCRRN, and educators within Virginia are working together to create a School-Age Child Care Credential for Virginia (VOST Credential). The VOST Credential will be structured with VDSS Licensing requirements in mind and will offer individuals the opportunity to meet the planned 120 training hour requirement through a variety of training options. A "challenge" option for the 120 training hours (based on life experience and working knowledge) developed from the VOST Credential Core Competencies is also planned. If you are interested in learning about the development of this exciting undertaking please join our discussion on the progress in developing the VOST Credential and related issues.
